In recognition of importance of personal information, VoiPlus (hereafter “VoiP+”,“we” or “our”) complies with the Telecommunications Business Law, Personal Information Protection Act, guidelines according to business fields as specified by a competent authority, including Guidelines concerning protection of personal information in Telecommunications Businesses.

Acquisition of Personal Information

Company acquires personal information by lawful and fair means within the scope necessary for the achievement of the purpose of utilization.

Usage Purposes

VoiP+ will use your personal data in order to:

  • Identify you and conduct billing
  • Guidance of products or services and works necessary to provide our services, e.g. advice the launching date, starting/stopping service date and alternating the contract.
  • In order to register domain, alternation's in contract and/or change of your information, we may release some of your information to trusted third parties who assist us in registering domain.
  • We may occasionally send newsletters and other information by email/post or telephone calls for market research and promotions.
  • Make service-related inquires to you or providing new service.
  • Answering some questionnaires.

Limitation of Usage Purposes

VoiP+ shall not collects personal information beyond the necessity to fulfill the purpose of use without consent from the person in question. However, the following cases are exceptional:

  • Case in which the provision of personal information is based on laws.
  • Cases in which the provision of personal information is necessary for the protection of the life, body, or property of an individual and in which it is difficult to obtain the consent of the person.
  • Cases in which the provision of personal information is specially necessary for improving public hygiene or promoting the sound growth of children and in which it is difficult to obtain the consent of the person.
  • Cases in which the provision of personal information is necessary for cooperating with a state institution, a local public body, or an individual or entity entrusted by one in executing the operations prescribed by laws and in which obtaining the consent of the person might impede the execution of the operations concern.

Period of Retention

We retain your personal information for the period necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or allowed by law or to otherwise fulfill a legal obligation.

  • Case in which outsourcing operation is conducted.

About Disclosure

VoiP+ shall respond to requests for, opinions on and inquiries about disclosure, correction, deletion and suspension of personal information in accordance with laws, ordinances and internal regulations.

Important Note

We reserve the right to use or disclose any information as needed to satisfy with the agreement, such as when we suffer damages of losses due to any Customer's failure to perform any payment obligation.
